CO 3092 Osiris has posted CGI art of the ship on their web site. Just go to http://www.ussosiris.org and click on the link on the main page.

CKE 71811 IDIC, based in Washington, DC, was decommissioned at the beginning of April 2003.

The results of the Votes of Confidence for the Sector VRCs have been announced.

  • Sector 1: By a majority vote, COMM Ed Tunis III passed his vote of confidence and will continue as Sector 1 VRC.

  • Sector 3: By a unanimous vote, CMDR Lamar Barrett passed his vote of confidence and will continue as Sector 3 VRC.

  • Sector 2: The Sector 2 vote was a tie, and after some consideration, COMM Gary Ensey has chosen to stand down from the position of Sector 2 VRC. With regret, his resignation was accepted by ADM Rosenzweig. Therefore, effective SD10304.04, the position of Vice Regional Coordinator, Sector 2, Region 7, has come open. An applicant for that positoon has submitted his name, and the chapters of Sector 2 have been asked to provide feedback by the end of April.
     

2LT Neal Fischer has been appointed as the 7th Brigade Deputy Communications Officer, Electronic Services.

LCDR Karen Mitchell is stepping down as editor of “Fleet 7” after the publication of the May-June issue. “Fleet 7” will be changing formats to an all-news publication, and a new editor will be sought beginning in the near future.

FCAPT Kyle Wolf has stepped down as R7 Shuttle Operations Officer for personal reasons. A new Shuttle Operations Officer will also be sought in the near future.

The 2003 Region 7 Conference—“The Philadelphia Experiment”—will be held on 19-21 September 2003 at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel, jointly hosted by CH 1647 Asimov, FT 1842 Accord, and SO 77930 Edinburgh. Watch for more details coming soon.
